Last year’s CASA Columbia Family Dinners report shared some pretty interesting facts about the frequency of importance of family dinners – especially related to teens.
Teens who have infrequent dinners (which by their stats means fewer than three per week) are:
- 4x more likely to use tobacco
- 2x more likely to use alcohol
- 2.5x more like to use marijuana
- 4x likelier to say they expect try drugs in the future
Check out this quick 2- minute news clip about the study.
This kind of news really inspires me to want to head for the kitchen and start chopping up some fresh stuff for dinner. How about you?
