
This was one of our original green smoothies. The recipe has changed over the years, but this is a good starter.
The more raw veggies you can get into your body, the better off you will be. Green smoothies are a great way to get some extra veggies into your diet. This is a great between meal snack or have it with breakfast!
RECIPE:
1 cup water
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (w/no added sugar) or you can use unsweetened soy milk
2 stalks of celery
1 carrot
1 tomato
2 cups spinach
some broccoli
some cucumber
some cinnamon (couple shakes)
1/2 banana
1/2 orange
some ice
dump it all in your Vita-Mix and blend!
